If your return gets rejected by the IRS for any reason, Tax990 will notify you via email with the reason for rejection. You can fix the errors and retransmit the return at no additional cost.

Here is how you correct and retransmit the rejected return:

  • Log into your Tax990 Account.
  • From the dashboard, click the 'Rejected by the IRS' button next to the rejected return to identify the errors.

  • Click the 'Fix Error' button next to the errors and fix them.

  • Review the form and retransmit it for free.

If the system does not show any errors, you can call the IRS appointment line at (866-255-0654) to know the reason for the rejection.

Once you have addressed all Form 990 errors, you can retransmit your return for free. Our software also allows you to file as many times as necessary to get your returns accepted at no additional cost.
