Schedule I must be filed by the organization along with Form 990 to report information on the grants and assistance provided by the organization to other domestic governments, domestic organizations, and domestic individuals during the tax year.

In addition, the organization should also report activities conducted directly and activities conducted indirectly through a disregarded entity or a joint venture treated as a partnership.
 
While filing Form 990 in ExpressTaxExempt using the "Interview-Based" filing, schedule I will be automatically generated. In case if you opt to file your Form 990 using the "Form-Based" filing, then Schedule I will be made available to you depending upon the information you enter in your Form 990.
