Schedule R is filed by the organization with Form 990 to report information on related organizations and transactions made with those organizations. In addition to it, the organization must also report certain activities conducted through unrelated partnerships.
 
A related organization includes a nonprofit organization, stock corporation, partnership or limited liability company, trust, unit, or governmental organization entity.
