How does the amendment process for Form 990 work in an interview-based filing?

In Tax990, you can amend Form 990 return through simple and easy steps. 

Here are the steps to amend a return through interview-based filing:

1. Log in to your ExpessTaxExempt account.
2. On the Dashboard, click AMEND THIS RETURN button against the return you want to amend.
3. Provide a reason as to why you want to amend this return. For example, let's presume you want to make corrections in the Contributions section. 
4. After entering the reason, click on the Continue button.
5. You'll find the form sections listed. Since you want to update the contributions, click on the Edit button against the Contributions section.
6. Update the information.
7. Review the details, pay, and click the Transmit button to transmit your return to the IRS.

Please note that an amended return is also subjected to public inspection. To know more about it, click here.

If you filed your original return with another service provider, you could only file an amended return with us using our form-based filing method. We do not support the interview-based filing method for amended returns filed with other service providers.
